Our supported and supportive accommodation services for individuals in care and care leavers help them to secure tenancies and address issues preventing them from living independently.
In addition to receiving practical housing and budgeting support, they can feel safe, secure, valued in their community, and confident in their ability to manage the practicalities of life.
We work, where appropriate, with the young person’s family to assist in improving relationships and actively support them to maintain positive links in their lives.
We also liaise with external agencies to support the work carried out with young people. This includes drug and alcohol services, advocacy services and CAMH services.
All packages are person-centred depending on need and assessment from 24/7 1-to-1 support to solo independent external support.
These properties retain the high-quality environment of our 24-hour staffed provisions with reduced on-site staffing and support hours.
We continue to assess the needs of our young people to plan and deliver programmes related to different areas such as health, fitness, drugs/substance misuse, dangers of gangs, safe relationships, employment and training.
