Our children’s residential homes are designed to offer a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where vulnerable children and young adults can thrive.
What the professionals say about us.
Senior Practitioner Social Worker
Kent County Council
“The support that has been given to my young person whilst he has had health needs has been excellent. Staff have advocated for him and have ensured he has the best care that is available.
The young person has felt supported totally regarding his current health needs. The staff are friendly and approachable and regularly update me on the current situations.
They have redecorated the young person’s room to a good standard and ensure that when he comes home he is comfortable.
Staff are always contactable and liaise with other professionals so ensuring my young person is well supported with his additional needs.”
Gareth Williams
Social Worker, Hackney
“The team made a special effort to provide a home to a teenager who had to leave his previous care home due to challenging and risky behaviours.
Staff have been flexible with arrangements to ensure that they were ready to welcome him and provide a range of activities to keep him safe and occupied.
There has been good communication on his progress each week, alongside clear and detailed incident reports and telephone discussions whenever needed.
There has also been good cooperation with other professionals in the network to support this young person to engage in positive next steps.”
Senior Social Worker
Transition Service, Medway
“They provided supported living for two young people I have referred to the service and were able to offer single person placements with the appropriate care and support required.
They have shown the ability to manage risk effectively and take appropriate action to safeguard the individuals they support, and have gone above and beyond their role to support the young people to achieve their goals and manage risk.
Proactive in liaising and updating involved professionals and advocating for the individuals they are supporting. TKNG provide monthly reports and update me regularly via email and telephone.
I would like to thank the team for the continued support they offer to the individuals they support and positive multi-agency working.”
Strategic Resource Manager
London Borough of Hackney
“We have excellent feedback from the SWU about communication and the home orchestrated a very thoughtful and child-focused transition for a very complex needs child that went very well.
Home staff were experienced and very flexible and accommodating based on the needs of the child, all staff are qualified and knowledgeable, and this is very clear from their work and interactions with the social work unit and the young person
They have a good understanding of trauma-informed practice, evidenced in their day-to-day delivery.”
Youth Offending Team
“The home and I are working closely together to ensure the young person is happy and safe. The home has been extremely quick with responses and answering any questions.
The young person has expressed to me that they feel safe and cared for at the home. Whilst talking with the manager, it was very clear that they and the staff have built a good bond with the young person.”
Medway Youth Offending Social Worker
“The staff have been amazing in their engagement and participation with myself and also of the group discussions had with the YP I am allocated to. The manager of the home has kept me well informed of actions made to support the YP and also any changes and concerns raised around them. The manager has been able to answer any questions I have and has supported me with my visit arrangements.
The wider staff have been lovely and helpful when I have needed guidance, whilst also being inclusive in explaining things to me that I may be unsure or unaware of.
However, what has really impressed me was a group discussion had with the YP and manager around the offences they committed and the trauma they have experienced – and the response they received from the worker was child-centered, reflective, insightful and knowledgeable towards research known to these areas of concerns.”
Member Of Staff

Together as a team, we ensure that all individuals are provided with the best support for their needs.
I also feel that we take into consideration any concerns from individuals and family members, deal with these accordingly and implement any support that will improve outcomes and our service.”
Member Of Staff
“The support system of the management is top-notch. There is always a quick response to every request of staff to the best of my knowledge.
The management is doing their best to make sure that the staff are updating their knowledge to enhance their proficiency in the delivery of their duty. This has always motivated me to always want to give my best in the delivery of my duty.”
Member Of Staff
“I’m really enjoying my current role and feel that it strikes a great balance between independence and guidance, allowing me to perform at my best. The level of autonomy I have is empowering, yet I always know support is available when I need it, which creates a productive and positive work environment for me. My workload is well-suited to my strengths, providing me with the opportunity to focus on tasks thoroughly and deliver high-quality results. I appreciate having enough time to dig into the details, which allows me to feel confident in the work I produce.
I also find a lot of fulfilment in being able to help my colleagues whenever they need assistance, and I’m really grateful for the collaborative and supportive atmosphere. The mutual support within the team contributes to a positive dynamic where we all thrive. I really value how accessible and responsive our managers are. Their quick and clear communication ensures that any questions or concerns are addressed promptly, keeping everything running smoothly and helping us all stay on track. Overall, I feel motivated and well-supported in my role, which makes it a great place to continue growing professionally.”
